David Harsent , one of the UK's most acclaimed poets published by Faber . The author of ten collections of poetry and an accomplished opera librettist, collaborating most notably with Sir Harrison Birtwistle. His tenth poetry collection, Night, which will be published in January by Faber, contains two long sequences, the first set in a garden where dreams and nightmares collide and coalesce, and the second a noirish quest poem with Orphic resonances.
