Laurens de Groot... environmentalist, writer of Hunting the Hunters.

He is the co-founder of ShadowView. Shadowview provides aerial surveillance and monitoring capability through the use of unmanned aerial vehicles.

He worked for the Dutch police force, specialising in organised environmental crime, for eight years before moving on to environmental activism. From 2007 onwards Laurens has been involved in several conservation projects varying from anti-whaling campaigns in the Antarctic to anti-poaching operations in Africa.
