Abdul Jabbar Kakaei, Iranian poet. Born 1963 in Eylam, Iran. Kakaei spent his childhood and school years in Eylam then got his High school diploma in 1980. He moved to Tehran in 1982 and continued his studies in Persian language and literature. Kakaei is most interested in Persian poetry styles of Ghazal and Masnavi. Besides teaching Persian literature in different levels from high school to university he works at the Ministry of Education.
