Esther Freud, award-winning novelist, is best known for her semi-autobiographical novel 'Hideous Kinky', which was made into a film starring Kate Winslet. She lives in north London with her husband and three children. Born in London, Freud is the daughter of painter Lucian Freud and Bernadine Coverley and is the great-granddaughter of Sigmund Freud.
