MALALA was introduced to the sellout Scottish schools audience of 600 teens by J.K. Rowling,  who said of the event:<br />
“Malala is an inspiration to girls and women all over the world. It is a real honour for me to introduce her at the Edinburgh International Book Festival.”<br />

Malala said, in closing the event: “If we want to see the next big change (of every child going to school) we need to become the change ourselves and bring the change.”<br />
